We analyzed data from 35 patients with KCNA2 IgG autoantibodies linked to various neuropsychiatric issues, including cognitive impairment and seizures. These autoantibodies were notably present in cerebrospinal fluid in some patients and showed different subclasses in serum.
Notably, four patients saw significant improvement with early immunotherapy, particularly those with autoimmune encephalitis. The findings suggest that KCNA2 autoimmunity is varied, indicating the need for more research to clarify its role and therapeutic approaches.

Joint resilience

I've started using MSM combined with collagen and vitamin C, and the results have been remarkable. My joint conditions significantly improved, allowing me to handle heavier loads without discomfort and reducing the frequency of colds. Previously, I was susceptible to drafts and infections; however, I've tested my resilience by sitting in winter, and it proved effective. The convenience of capsules makes it easier for those who dislike the powder's taste.

I am a loyal customer of the JARROW brand. I’ve recently been taking their sulfur supplement combined with glucosamine and chondroitin, which is vital for joint support and inflammation relief. I regret not having discovered its benefits earlier. Additionally, sulfur greatly assists with acne-prone skin. With 200 capsules available, this quantity lasts sufficiently long and is often on discount.

This is the remedy that led me to start ordering from iHerb! It's my constant companion—trustworthy and wonderful. It seems to support joint health, and although the effects are subtle, I definitely feel the benefits. Highly recommend!
An autoimmune disorder occurs when the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own healthy cells and tissues, believing them to be foreign invaders, such as bacteria or viruses. This reaction can lead to inflammation, tissue damage, and impaired function of the affected organs. There are over 80 known autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, and type 1 diabetes, each with its own specific symptoms and treatment options. The exact cause of these disorders is still unclear, but a combination of genetic, environmental, and hormonal factors is believed to play a role in their development.
Diagnosis of autoimmune disorders often involves a combination of physical examinations, assessment of symptoms, blood tests, and imaging studies to evaluate organ involvement. Treatment typically focuses on managing symptoms and controlling the immune response using medications such as corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, and biologics. In addition to medication, lifestyle modifications, such as stress management and a balanced diet, can be beneficial in managing symptoms. If you suspect you have an autoimmune condition, it's important to consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and tailored treatment options.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring sulfur compound that is often used as a dietary supplement. It is found in various fruits, vegetables, grains, and animal products, but its concentration in these foods is relatively low. MSM gained popularity for its potential health benefits, particularly in the realms of joint health, anti-inflammatory effects, and skin care. Many users report improvements in symptoms related to osteoarthritis and joint pain when using MSM supplements.
The mechanism behind MSM's effects is believed to be related to its ability to support the body's production of collagen, which is essential for maintaining healthy cartilage and connective tissues. Additionally, MSM is thought to have antioxidant properties that might help combat oxidative stress, further promoting joint and overall health. However, while many anecdotal reports support these claims, scientific research on the efficacy of MSM is still ongoing. As with any supplement, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating MSM into your regimen, especially if you have underlying health conditions or are taking other medications.
While there is some anecdotal evidence suggesting that Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) may help with inflammation and support joint health, scientific research specifically linking MSM to the treatment of autoimmune disorders is limited. MSM is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and may contribute to alleviating symptoms associated with conditions like arthritis, which is often connected with autoimmune responses. However, it is crucial to note that MSM should not be seen as a standalone treatment for autoimmune disorders.
Individuals suffering from autoimmune diseases should consult with healthcare professionals before incorporating MSM into their treatment plans. While it might provide some relief in terms of symptom management, relying solely on MSM without professional guidance could lead to missed opportunities for more effective treatments. As always, an integrative approach that includes a balanced diet, proper medical interventions, and lifestyle changes is essential in managing autoimmune conditions effectively.

No, there is no scientific evidence from the provided research to support the use of this supplement for autoimmune disorders. The study focused on KCNA2 IgG autoimmunity in neuropsychiatric disorders and discussed immunotherapy rather than any specific supplement. It highlighted improvements in specific patients with autoimmune encephalitis but did not connect any supplement to these outcomes. Further research is necessary to better understand the role of autoantibodies and treatment approaches in autoimmune conditions, leaving the effectiveness of any supplement unverified in this context [1].

Affordable quality

This MSM nutritional supplement is the best in terms of price and quantity. Jarrow, a leading supplement brand, offers a quality product at a lower price compared to domestic options. I regularly order it for my parents, who suffer from knee joint issues, and they claim it’s more effective when taken with vitamin C. While some attribute improvements to placebo, I firmly believe there’s a genuine enhancement effect when consistently used.

Minimal effect noted
I ordered this dietary supplement based on its praise for joint support. While the quality and ingredients are excellent, I struggled to maintain consistency with it. The packaging is sealed and suitable for those aged 18+. Unfortunately, the benefits were minimal, likely due to my lack of commitment. A proper diet and calcium intake are crucial as well.

An excellent preparation of methylsulfonylmethane. I have tried various brands of MSM, and this one is very effective. The convenience of having 200 capsules per package is great, especially as I need 2 per day. For those suffering from serious issues with the ligamentous apparatus, I suggest increasing to 3 capsules daily. My joints have stopped cracking, and I feel more mobile. Additionally, my vision appears to have improved, and my heels are no longer dry. Though my problems occasionally return, I can always reorder this product. Thank you to those who recommend it. Wishing everyone good health!
